The premier cru vinyards of Saint Aubin are situated right behind the villages of Chassagne and Puligny. The exposure is south-east and south-west. Chardonnay have been planted here for over twenty years as the area had to cope with the phylloxéra disaster.
With time the intensity of the wines is growing with surprising concentrations close to Puligny and Chassagne wines.
The aromas of almonds, spices are often detected in these wines with an elegant and fine structure.
The wines do posess an ageing potential similar to his well known neighbours.
