“The 1999 Chassagne-Montrachet Abbaye de Morgeot reveals lemon and mineral aromas. Medium-bodied, broad, and satin-textured, this is a robust, meaty wine. Earth, candide apple, and poached pears can be found in its fresh, well-balanced personality. Drink it over the next 6 years.” The Wine Advocate - 28-02-01
“This too offers the same subtle rosemary and dried herbs as found in the Chassagne Villages with excellent minerality and real flavor precision. Morgeot can often be quite muscular and a bit foursquare but this is really rather fine with impressive length. There is good baby fat and better than average sève, which should permit this to age well for 4 to 7 years. Lovely stuff. 90/2005-8
