Situated in the south of the Côte de Beaune, the village of Chassagne-Montrachet has the characteristic of producing not only white wines due to its marly limestone but also red wines (on marly brown limestone). In principle, the best Chardonnay terrain has more oolitic limestone and less clay.
The wines are rich and powerful with a long finish. Our blend comes from a "cuvée ronde" assembled from all areas of the appellation along with several lots from young premier cru vines.
