This vineyard is situated on the far upper slope of the Mount Rachet right under the pine forest.
The word Garenne meant in the middle Ages a small forest for private hunting belonging to its seigneur which was the Abbaye of Maizières.
The wines coming from this vineyard possess great elegance and finesse, expressing all the intense mineral caracter of this appellation. In certain vintages we even find aromas of white truffles after a few years of ageing.
Area under vine : about 25 acres (9,9 ha)
