“Les referts is sited on rather rich clay for Puligny, touching Meursault 1er cru Charmes du Dessous. Due to its position on the lower slopes and its soil, this tends to be rather richer than many. The 2004 was a pale green-gold in colour. The nose is perfumed with white flowers, hints of honey and nuts. The palate has a haunting, wonderful freshness, giving focus to melon and stone fruits. A nice wine. From 2007.”
