During the prestigious evening « Tour de France des Appellations » held on June 15th 2015 in Domaine de Chevalier (Léognan), Olivier Leflaive from Burgundy and Erick de Sousa from Champagne revealed their new production. It was a meeting of minds that was bound to produce something extraordinary : a friendship between two hedonists, two men steeped in the art of wine making, two men with a profound attachment to their vineyard.

Between them they created : Champagne Valentin Leflaive. The Extra-brut Blanc de Blancs Valentin Leflaive is composed exclusively of Chardonnay from Côte des Blancs. Each cuvée is blessed with outstanding minerality and complexity thanks to the Burgundy barrels used during vinification and to the meticulous attention of Erick de Souza.

Sales of the first 7.000 bottles will start in September 2015.
